End of an Adventure

Ok, so it has been a long time since we updated our blog. You've probably guessed we are not still in Cuba! We've moved back to the UK and a LOT has happened since our return, but that should be the subject of another blog.

So this will be our final message on this blog. Time to reflect on our life in Ottawa. We're definitely glad we did it and would encourage anyone else thinking of doing something similar to go for it! It was hard at times and we found the grass wasn't greener than in the UK, but we made some great friends, we made the most of travelling opportunities and enjoyed all the festivals that Ottawa puts on. Ultimately we were drawn home to be with our family and friends. At times we are in the sad situation of missing a lot from Canada but we also know that when we were there we missed even more from the UK. We do look back fondly on our time in Ottawa and have memories that will always be with us.
